Air New Zealand's CEO declined to engage in promotion wars similar to Qantas Loyalty's billion-point giveaway, aimed at Australian Frequent Flyers who have traveled in the past year. This statement followed the announcement of substantial profits by both airlines. "Such promotions around the profit announcements are not my style," Foran commented.
