The Australian Loyalty Association's retail loyalty report, conducted in partnership with Power Retail, reveals that 60% of Australians are hesitant to share their personal data with retailers. This reluctance has spiked following several recent data breaches. Moreover, 81% of Australians now show a preference for email communications, rather than SMS, due to rising concerns over scams.

The survey highlights top-ranked loyalty programs including Woolworths Supermarkets Everyday Rewards, Coles Group Flybuys, MYER One, Amazon Prime, Priceline Sister Club, MECCA Brands Beauty Loop, and SEPHORA Beauty Pass.
