Commonwealth Bank Expands Yello Program

Commonwealth Bank's whole of bank loyalty program Yello is now widely available. Launched in May last year, it had 140,000 members in its pilot in February and hit 175,000 in September. There are three tiers driven by product holding and product usage which attract increasing benefits.

• All three tiers offer:
  • A 12-month free membership to the bank's kids pocket money app Kit
  • Cash back offers at retailers
  • Cashback on the bank's personal loans
• The second tier, which requires a transaction account with 30 outbound transactions a month, adds:
  • 500 credit card rewards points
  • A monthly sweepstakes entry for a $300 prize
• The third tier, which requires the 30 outbound transactions and a home loan, adds:
  • 1,000 credit card rewards points
  • A monthly sweepstakes entry for a $1,200 prize
  • Cash back on insurance policies and home loans
