oneworld Adds Cross-Upgrades
Starting later this year, select oneworld Alliance airlines, including Qantas, will introduce cross-alliance upgrades to premium classes.

A limited group of oneworld Alliance airlines, which includes Qantas, will begin offering upgrades to premium economy, business, and first class across different alliance members. This service is set to start later this year. This initiative has been in the pipeline for a while; Qantas had previously surveyed its members about it back in 2019. Notably, their competitor, Star Alliance, has already been providing a similar service for some time.
