New Zealand loyalty platform VoucherMob, which achieved recognition by winning at the NZ Hi-Tech Awards in 2011, underwent several significant transformations over the past decade. It was rechristened as VMob and then underwent a further rebranding to Plexure in 2016. The company, which is listed on the NZX Limited, received a substantial investment of $5 million from McDonald's in 2019, with the global fast-food giant also becoming a shareholder.

In a strategic move to expand its services, Plexure acquired TASK, a hospitality and loyalty provider previously listed on the ASX, in 2021. As of this week, TASK finalized an agreement to be acquired by US-based PAR Technology, marking another significant milestone in its journey.
