Legislation to address Australia's outdated customer privacy laws (expected to be introduced to parliament in the current sitting) will now be introduced the week of 9 September. Not all of the 106 recommendations from the Privacy Act Review agreed or agreed in principle by the government are expected to make their way into the final bill. Read more.
