Qantas Frequent Flyer Program Expands
It was announced today that Qantas Frequent Flyer points can now be used to book events through Ticketek Australia. This new option provides members with the opportunity to use their accumulated points on more than just flights and upgrades.
Early Access to Exclusive Events
Members of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program are set to enjoy early access to three major events occurring early next year. These include 'Jerry Seinfeld Live in Sydney', the 'Australia v West Indies cricket Test series' in Brisbane, and 'Lightscape Melbourne'.
Background on Qantas Loyalty's Strategic Moves
Previously, Qantas Loyalty had shown interest in joining KKR's bid when the business was up for sale. However, that did not materialize. Nonetheless, Qantas Loyalty is projecting significant earnings for this financial year, estimating between $500 million and $600 million.
