Qantas Updates Classic+ Seat Redemption
Qantas has announced a new update to its Classic+ seat redemption, aiming to enhance the way customers use points for flight bookings. The updated Classic+ option will be available for international flights starting in July and will be extended to domestic flights by the end of the year.
Under the new system, the number of points required for redemptions will fluctuate based on airfare prices, necessitating more points during peak travel periods, such as school holidays, and fewer points during off-peak times.
Additionally, members will have the opportunity to convert their frequent flyer points at a rate of one point to 1¢ for economy flights and one point to 1.5¢ for business class flights.
