Acquisition in the Technology and Restaurant Loyalty Sector
ASX-listed restaurant loyalty provider TASK, known for its high-profile clients such as Starbucks and McDonald's, has entered into an agreement to be acquired by US-based PAR Technology for approximately AU$288 million.
In a related move, PAR Technology is also set to acquire Stuzo, a digital applications firm, for US$190 million.
Previously, in 2021, TASK expanded its market presence by acquiring New Zealand-founded loyalty provider Plexure.
