Australian Family Business TASK Receives Takeover Bid
An Australian family-owned enterprise, TASK, has been extended a takeover offer amounting to $310 million from PAR Technology. Previously in 2021, TASK was purchased by Plexure, the digital force behind the McDonald's app, for $120 million. This acquisition was facilitated by the advisory services of Latimer Partners, resulting in TASK shareholders gaining a 43% stake in Plexure.
