Fraudulent Use of Woolworths Rewards Accounts
A cohort of 50 individuals collectively set up several burner accounts on the Woolworths Supermarkets Everyday Rewards program, amassing $375 in vouchers. These funds were specifically used to purchase alcohol for a social gathering. In response to this scheme, Woolworths has temporarily shut down this feature to prevent further misuse.
