New Everyday Rewards Program at Woolworths Supermarkets
Woolworths Supermarkets, formerly known as Countdown Supermarkets, has updated its Everyday Rewards program terms. Under the new terms, the supermarket is authorized to record customer license plates and capture both video and audio recordings of customers. Additionally, these recordings can be linked to individual membership numbers.
The collected video footage and audio recordings are primarily used for enhancing security measures, preventing theft, and ensuring safety within the supermarket premises.
